How do I keep my cushions looking as good a new?

Unless otherwise requested, all our cushions are filled with luxurious duck feathers. Daily fluffing and plumping of the cushion will ensure they remain looking their best and provide you with maximum comfort.
We recommend dry cleaning of the cushions covers in the event they become dirty or stained. On those cushions that are sealed, then a lightly damp sponge clean should remove most marks.

How do I keep the shape in my Beanbag?

It is quite natural after a period of time that the polystyrene beads within your beanbag will begin to compress. Top-up bags are available from us at Lime Jellyfish so please contact us with your requirements.
To simply top up your beanbag just unzip the bottom of your beanbag and undo the tied knot on the inner (please ensure you re-tie the inner when finished) and carefully empty your top up bag inside (this is easier if you get someone to help you). With the correct care and maintenance you will get years of enjoyment from all our cushions and beanbags.

What should I do if my cushion or beanbag arrives damaged?

In the unfortunate event of you receiving goods which are either faulty or have been damaged during transit then we will be happy to provide you with an identical replacement. We request that you contact Customer Services on +44 (0)1252 810054 for a returns authorisation and we will then despatch a replacement on receipt of the original. All postage costs incurred as a result of the replacement will be refunded.

Is my cushion and Beanbag flame proof?

All our products are made using fire retardant materials, which includes all cushion inners and Polystyrene bead fillings. Each individual polystyrene bead is fire retardant and compliant to the UK regulations for seating and furniture products BS5852. All duck feather cushion inners comply with the furniture and furnishings (FIRE) (SAFETY) regulations 1988. All fillings have been tested by our supplier(s) to ensure compliance with the relevant ignitability test.

WARNING: Keep all products away from naked flames and other sources of ignition. In the event of a fire use water, dry media or a foam extinguisher.

How can I tell if the web site is a secure one?

When you are making a purchase and you are asked for your credit card details, you will notice that the page address begins with https://. Do the prices shown on the website include VAT?

Yes. All prices shown on this website are in UK £ (Pounds Sterling) and are inclusive of VAT at 17.5%.

How can I pay for an order?

Payment can be made either by Credit Card/Debit Card.

Via the Internet: You can complete your order in full over the Internet without any help from us, by just following the on screen instructions.

By Phone: You can make a payment over the phone with one of our sales team on +44 (0)1252 810054, between 9.00am until 5.00pm, Monday to Friday. If you would prefer you can even process your order online and then telephone us with your payment details.

We accept the following cards:

Please allow 10 working days for cheques to clear and for goods to be despatched. Goods will only be despatched once funds have cleared our account. We only accept cheques in £ Pounds Sterling.

How do I change or cancel my order?

If you wish to change or cancel an order please contact our Customer Services Team on +44 (0)1252 810054 between the hours of 9.00am until 5.00pm, Monday to Friday.

All orders will normally be processed within 24hrs of receiving them so if you intend on cancelling or changing an order, please do so ASAP. If we are unable cancel the order on time and your goods have been despatched, then you will have up to 7 days from receipt of the goods within which to return them to us for a full refund.

Please note: No postage costs will be refunded unless there is a manufacturing fault with the product.
Also note: All our products are checked at various stages throughout the course of their manufacture and again by a quality controller before the product leaves our premises.

What are the Delivery charges?

We aim to deliver your goods within 14 days of you submitting your order. If you require your order sooner, then please phone us on +44 (0)1252 810054 and we will see what we can do for you.

Delivery Prices are as below:

Standard Delivery -

  • £6.50 (within England and Scotland)
  • £15.00 (within Highlands and Northern Ireland)
  • £18.00 (within Southern Ireland)

For security reasons we reserve the right not to deliver orders if we believe the address is not secure, for example, to a communal postal address or PO Box. If this affects an order you place we will notify you as soon as possible.

What if I’m not in when you deliver?

Deliveries will usually be made Monday to Friday between the hours of 8am and 5pm. A signature will be obtained if there is an appropriate individual available to sign for the consignment when it is delivered. If no-one is available to receive and sign for consignments, they will be left in a safe location (complying with any instructions given) or with a neighbour.

A ‘Special instructions’ comment box is available on the delivery details page of our Shopping Basket where you can add comments such as “Leave in shed” or “Leave with neighbour” should you not be available on the day of delivery. When a consignment is left with a neighbour, a card will be posted through your door indicating to whom the consignment has been left with.

Do I have any Legal Protection?

As a consumer you are protected by the normal laws of England, in particular The Sale and Supply of Goods Act 1994 (c. 35) and the Consumer Protection Act 1987 (c.43)
